G’day Charles Touma here, and today I’m on Rothschild Avenue in the great suburb of Rosebery.
This 16-acre parcel of land around me used to be home to one of the world’s greatest lolly factories. Toffees, fantales, minties and jaffas all used to be made here once upon a time.
They’re still being made around the world under the license of Nestle. On any given day, there was a thousand workers, working here at one time. Now I have been selling in the area for 20 years; one of my recent sales 61 Rosebery Avenue, Rosebery sold for $3,020,000.
